World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a vital part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also provide bonus effects and enhancements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects and others provide additional benefits. These upgrades can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor or trinket, but it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool for an item.
In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded by adding an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon level.
Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be re-applied simultaneously, and the effects are based on the rarity of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage a weapon can cause.
In general, it's advisable to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then you can increase your armour defense and finally, the secondary stats required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially relevant for enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the effectiveness of certain weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, for example, an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, through loot drops, or as rewards from quests.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases the armor will be upgraded to next level once an upgrade is applied. The majority of armor types can be upgraded, however certain items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's defense or strength by a small amount. However, certain upgrade components can give significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, a few upgrades also offer specific abilities that can be activated while wearing an armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For example they can boost the speed of attack or block. Certain upgrades also offer passive effects, for instance cutting down on the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or granting a chance to dodge attacks.
Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item may require multiple tries. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of 59-67. item upgrading will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77, and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations houses a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useful. Certain armors provide a significant increase in the ability to reduce the damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them useful for certain types of builds. There are other methods to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, like using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to get higher levels of potency.
The potion also has a custom color code, which the player can choose by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane potions that are thick and awkward now have a brand new texture for brewing. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness have been added. The potions are lingering and can be brewed with dragon breath or splash potions and a strong potion with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket
A trinket is a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It can be a ring or necklace. It could also be a small banner that marks the yard of a lateen boat. This can also refers to the trinket with gilded gold that is attached to the mast of a boat.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more common. At present the trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives each floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket cost a small amount of energy.
The magic of this enchanted scepter appears to influence the dungeon, making it more likely to create grass and water. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It does not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed weapons or armor or other items that are created to solve hazards rooms.
While it looks like a normal newt's eye, this mysterious object appears to be affecting your vision in ways that go beyond merely reducing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health benefits of drinking healing potions and wells of life by X%, and also gives mind sight to enemies within Y tile. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reorge the Trinket for as many times as you like, but it will always have an effect that is different from the one it was when you first made it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by just a little.
